So I remembered this today after doing the first reading. I remembered our talk from last class about the disadvantages of screen based keyboards and I thought this might be a good opportunity to tell those of you that haven’t heard about this that there are companies working to bring tactility back into user interfaces. Specifically a company called Tactus, check it out. I’m guessing this hasn’t gotten more hype because I would assume a lot of people think it would take away from the “simple elegance” of flat interface technology but I can certainly see a real use of it, especially if it can be advanced to be able to create many different kinds of shapes. What do you guys think?
